Taqoya Branscomb says her 4-year-old daughter is Beyonce’s half-sister

New York, NY — October 29, 2014 — Inside Edition’s Diane McInerney exclusively speaks with Taqoya Branscomb, who says she’s the mother of Beyonce’s four-year-old half-sister, Koi.

Branscomb tells Inside Edition that Koi is the result of an affair between Branscomb and Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, and that just like Beyonce, Koi Knowles is growing up in Houston with a passion for singing and dancing.

Branscomb tells Inside Edition that when she became pregnant, Knowles said that the child couldn’t be his.

Branscomb: “He’d had a vasectomy. Or at least that was what I was told.”

However, she showed Inside Edition the results of a court ordered paternity test that states he’s the father by a 99.9% certainty.

Branscomb: “You can’t deny it once DNA tests come out 99.9% that you are the father.”

Branscomb tells Inside Edition that Knowles has not financially supported Koi and that she’s battling him in court to get him to pay child support. But despite her differences with Mathew Knowles, Branscomb says that she hopes one day Koi will be able to meet Beyonce.

Branscomb: “They are half sisters and maybe one day down the line that can be made possible.”

Inside Edition has reached out to Mathew Knowles but has not received comment at this time.
