INSIDE EDITION EXCLUSIVE: BIDEN SEEN WITH HEAD WOUND AMID ONGOING CANCER TREATMENTS

Rehoboth Beach, Del. – September 4, 2025 – In exclusive video obtained by INSIDE EDITION, President Joe Biden is seen leaving a church in Rehoboth Beach with what appears to be a gash on his head. The footage was recorded by Fred Karger, who said to his eye, it resembled what he believes is the aftermath of skin cancer surgery. Biden has previously dealt with skin cancer, including the removal of a basal cell carcinoma from his chest in 2023. He is also currently undergoing treatment for stage four prostate cancer. The night before, he was seen at an ice cream shop wearing a baseball cap that appeared to cover the injury.

“I was a little surprised because it’s a noticeable scar, but it looks fresh,” Karger told INSIDE EDITION. “It was different from the night before when he was wearing his Camp David baseball cap.”

INSIDE EDITION showed the footage to NYU Langone dermatologist, Dr. Doris Day, who stated, “My guess is that it’s more likely from something like a skin cancer surgery than from bumping your head or a laceration from something, because I wouldn’t expect that many stitches from just a bump on the head.”
