New York, NY — September 3rd, 2019 – In an exclusive airing on Tuesday, INSIDE EDITION’s Steven Fabian speaks with former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman, who discusses President Trump’s former personal secretary Madeline Westerhout.
Westerhout, 28, was forced out of the White House for telling reporters off-the-record that President Trump doesn’t like being photographed with his daughter Tiffany because of her weight and that he couldn’t pick her out of a crowd.
President Trump told reporters that’s not true, but Omarosa tells INSIDE EDITION she’s heard him insult Tiffany. “Yes, he would make disparaging comments about Tiffany, so Madeline’s disclosures are not very surprising,” she says, “But what was surprising was that she actually breached confidence of the Trump family.”
Omarosa goes on to say she knows Westerhout well, after working with her closely in the White House. “She was the gatekeeper for Donald Trump and she sat outside of his office,” she says. “Donald Trump was very fond of her. He thought she was very pretty. She was very young, very immature, but she quickly grew in her role.”
According to reports, at least one top publishing house is considering offering Westerhout a deal to write a tell-all book. Omarosa, who wrote a best-selling book about her time in the White House, says to watch out, as she is being sued by the President for allegedly violating a confidentiality agreement.
Over the weekend, President Trump tweeted about how Omarosa was “disgusting and foul-mouthed,” adding, “I gave her every break despite the fact that she was despised by everyone and she went for some cheap money from a book.”
Omarosa tells INSIDE EDITION, “I think he’s now utilizing those tweets to send a message to his now-fired, now-terminated assistant Madeline.”
