New York, NY - July 1, 2009 - Ryan O'Neal tells INSIDE EDITION that his estranged son, Griffin O'Neal, was banned from the funeral of Ryan's longtime love, actress Farrah Fawcett. 

Griffin, who says he drove 300 miles to say goodbye to Fawcett, was not allowed in the funeral at Ryan's request.

After the funeral, our cameras caught up with Ryan and asked him why Griffin was banned from the funeral.

Ryan O'Neal: "Because he's [Griffin] a bad guy."    

Griffin O'Neal tells INSIDE EDITION that he feels Fawcett would be upset that he was not allowed at her funeral.

Griffin O'Neal: "She's mad right now that I'm not in there...I just wanted to say goodbye to someone that I knew and loved for 33 years."
