New York, NY - September 22, 2009 - Jamie Auchincloss, half brother of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, is in Oregon court today to address charges of possession of child pornography.  INSIDE EDITION spoke exclusively in his first television interview with the whistleblower in the case, Auchincloss former personal assistant and whistleblower, Eddy McManus, on why he says he had to go to authorities about the alleged offenses.  

McMANUS:  "There was a lot of these children and I wasn't sure how many of them were local kids who were being abused...were pictures from the internet, and that's when I decided it was a matter for the authorities.   It was too big for me to deal with."

McManus describes the content of the alleged pornography.

McMANUS:    "There was a lot of kiddie porn in the house.  Pamphlets.  Magazines.  Polaroid's.  What I mostly I saw were young teenagers, definitely under 19...definitely over 12 - in the 14-year-old range, 15-year-old range.

McManus also claims that he believes the late Sen. Edward Kennedy may have been concerned about Auchincloss.

McMANUS:  "He (Jamie) said that Teddy had told him that if any of his proclivities had gotten out in public and hurt the family in any way, that Jamie would be in big trouble."

Auchincloss has pleaded not guilty to the charges.  In a published report, Auchincloss says McManus had an ulterior motive in turning him into police, because he says he had accused his former personal assistant of stealing $18,000 from him.
