New York, NY – January 31, 2022 – In an interview airing on Monday, INSIDE EDITION speaks with Jennifer Saginor, a woman who claims that her father and Hugh Hefner had a close loving relationship for 40 years.
“I am saying that Hefner and my father were soulmates. In my opinion this was the love of Hefner’s life and the love of my father’s life,” Saginor tells INSIDE EDITION.
According to Saginor, Hefner was bisexual. She lived at the Playboy Mansion from girlhood until she went to college. Saginor’s father was Hefner’s personal physician.
She’s written a book about her unconventional upbringing and is featured in the A&E docuseries, “Secrets of Playboy.” Saginor tells INSIDE EDITION that her father even had a room at the mansion.
“My father was seeing Hef on a regular basis and seeing Hef all the time,” says Saginor. “It was just natural for him to have a room there so my father could check on him on a regular basis.”
Saginor says that Hefner and her father then grew very close.
She says Hefner and her father were in a relationship for nearly 40 years. When asked if there was a physical relationship as well as an emotional one, Saginor tells INSIDE EDITION, “Sure, sure.” She says, “the wives and the girlfriends may come and go but this relationship remained constant.”
While it may seem strange for a child to live in the Playboy Mansion, Saginor tells INSIDE EDITION it was a magical childhood.
“To me it was just this magical environment. Exotic animals and gumballs and M&M’s everywhere,” says Saginor.
She also says there was a dark side to life at the mansion. She says she was introduced to drugs at an early age. “I got my first joint in the game room at age eleven,” she tells INSIDE EDITION.
Saginor says her father was at Hugh Hefner’s side when he died in 2017. She tells INSIDE EDITION, “My father was the only person with him when he passed.”
