New York, NY — October 12, 2017 – In the wake of sexual harassment and assault allegations against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, a light is being shined on inappropriate behavior in Hollywood. Now in an exclusive airing on Thursday, INSIDE EDITION’s Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero is coming forward to reveal that she experienced inappropriate conduct 20 years ago when she was an actress.  

Guerrero says that Steven Seagal, who was one of the biggest Hollywood action stars at the time, invited her to audition at his home. Seagal, who was also a director and producer, was casting his movie, “Fire Down Below,” and told Guerrero she was up for the lead.

“When I knocked, he came to the door in a silk bathrobe and nothing else,” Guerrero says. But, Guerrero had insisted that a female casting director accompany her and nothing physical happened at the audition.

Guerrero was invited to a call-back audition, but was asked to come alone. She refused and was cast in a much smaller role that she says was eventually cut entirely.

On set, Guerrero says another disturbing incident with Seagal occurred. “He walked over to me and asked me to go to the dressing room. I said, ‘No.’”

Other actresses, including Jenny McCarthy, have claimed Seagal made inappropriate advances. Seagal has denied all claims.

Guerrero’s experience parallels the claims made against producer Harvey Weinstein. “We have all been Harvey Weinstein-ed,” Guerrero says. “I was Harvey Weinstein-ed by Steven Seagal.”

Guerrero says she’s telling her story in hope of helping change the casting-couch culture in Hollywood.

Seagal and his representatives did not respond to INSIDE EDITION’s requests for a comment.
