INSIDE EDITION TV EXCLUSIVE: LISA KUDROW LOSES COURT BATTLE & OWES $1.6 MILLION TO EX-MANAGER

New York, NY — February 26, 2014 — Inside Edition reports that Lisa Kudrow lost her court battle with former manager Scott Howard, who says the “Friends” star owes him $1.6 million of her earnings from the show.

 

The jury reached a verdict on Tuesday in favor of Scott Howard, awarding him $1.6 million, the exact amount Howard claimed he was owed in the lawsuit.

 

Ten jurors voted in favor of Howard, deciding that Kudrow violated their oral agreement, two jurors voted in Kudrow’s favor.

 

Kudrow looked somber, but showed little emotion and said nothing, when the judge read the verdict.

 

Kudrow’s attorney tells Inside Edition that they will appeal.  Kudrow had no comment as she left the court house.

 

Scott Howard speaks with Inside Edition on his way out of the court house:

 

Howard: “I feel gratified. It was our agreement and I live up to my agreement, and I expect others to live up to theirs as well.”

 

Inside Edition also speaks with the jury foreman Steven De Bode, who was one of the two jurors who voted in favor Kudrow’s favor.

 

De Bode: “When the case was over I went straight to Lisa Kudrow and apologized for the verdict.”
