TELEVISION EXCLUSIVE: INSIDE EDITION REVEALS OBAMA’S PROM DATE’S SHOCKING PAST

New York, NY — September 24, 2013 —In a television exclusive airing today, Inside Edition reveals the shocking past of President Barack Obama’s 1979 prom date, Megan Hughes. Accompanying the President and Hughes were Obama’s best friend Greg Orme and his date, Kelli Allman.

Much is known about Greg Orme, who still plays golf with the President, and Kelli Allman, who spoke exclusively with Inside Edition in May, after she released photos of the foursome on prom night. However, not much was known about Obama’s date Megan Hughes, when those photos were published in “Time” magazine earlier this year.

But today, Inside Edition exclusively reveals that Megan Hughes’ life took a much different path than the President of the United States’: In 2003, 2004, and 2005, she was arrested for drug possession, three arrests in three years.

Inside Edition reports that although she pled no contest to the charges, they were all dismissed after she completed court-ordered drug rehabilitation programs.

According to Inside Edition, Hughes also appeared in an R-rated film called, “Smooth Operator,” which was released in 1995. She played a businesswoman who has an affair with a personal trainer, and went topless in the movie.  

It appears that Hughes has remained out of trouble since 2005, and she now teaches yoga to recovering addicts.
