ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT: EXCLUSIVE: SHOCKING CLAIMS AGAINST “REAL HOUSEWIVES” STAR TAYLOR ARMSTRONG AND HER LATE HUSBAND, RUSSELL
To be broadcast Monday, Sept. 26
New York, NY – Sept. 26th – Shocking new claims have surfaced against “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong and her recently deceased husband, Russell.
A former friend and business partner of the reality stars is now speaking out exclusively to INSIDE EDITION – calling Taylor anything but innocent and accusing the couple of misappropriating millions to fund their lavish lifestyle.
Los Angeles businessman Bob Lorsch befriended the Armstrongs and partnered with Russell to find investors and raise money for their company, “MyMedicalRecords.com.” Lorsch is now suing Taylor and Russell’s estate for millions he claims was money intended to be invested. Lorsch speaks with INSIDE EDITION’s Jim Moret about his lawsuit.
LORSCH: “I definitely feel betrayed by Russell. What’s about to come out, I think, is the unraveling of The Real Housewives or The Real Armstrongs.”
MORET: “You contend that Russell funneled millions of dollars from investors and used it to finance his own lifestyle.”
LORSCH: “I look at Russell and Taylor as a duo that worked together to create an illusionary lifestyle at the expense of a lot of innocent people.”
According to Lorsch’s lawsuit, the Armstrongs lived a lavish Beverly Hills lifestyle even while Russell was in bankruptcy, allegedly using other people’s money to finance their extravagant tastes.
MORET: “Was Taylor an innocent victim in Russell’s business affairs or was she a partner?”
LORSCH: “She wrote checks for the extravagant aspects of their lifestyle. She had to know where those monies were coming from.”
Lorsch points to the highly publicized $60,000 birthday party Taylor threw for her 4-year-old daughter, Kennedy, as an example of their lavish spending. And he showed INSIDE EDITION another check Taylor wrote for $20,000 that went to the Prince Charles Charitable Trust while Russell was still in bankruptcy. In exchange for the contribution, the Armstrongs got to meet the Prince.
LORSCH: “They’re emailing photos of Taylor and Russell and Prince Charles, bragging about it. Taylor was anything but innocent.”
Taylor denies having any knowledge of her husband’s business affairs.
