New York, NY - July 20, 2010 - INSIDE EDITION speaks with Levi Johnston's ex-girlfriend, who is breaking her silence for the first time. 

Brianna Plumb, 20, who lives outside of Anchorage, AK and works at Nordstrom, tells INSIDE EDITION she met Levi while he was shopping at the department store for clothes for his son for Christmas.  She says that he asked her out but at first she refused because "Bristol" was tattooed on his finger.

Plumb: "I said I'm not gonna date someone who has a tattoo of his ex-fiance on his ring finger...So within a few days he had it covered up...with the state of Alaska tattooed over...He said, ‘I'd been meaning to get it covered up for a long time'...and he was happy he got it done."  

According to Plumb, Johnston called to see her as recently as a month ago.  But Plumb says she didn't because she wanted to just be friends.
