LIFE AFTER GIVING BIRTH

INSIDE EDITION'S MEGAN ALEXANDER AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEWS

To be broadcast Monday, Sept. 21, 2009

New York, NY - September 18, 2009 - The story erupted into a national scandal last year when 17 teenaged girls at Gloucester High School became pregnant, and a report suggested half of the girls had made a pact to get pregnant together.  The scandal drew unwanted attention to the small fishing town of Gloucester, MA.

Pact or no pact, one year later, the babies have arrived, and life isn't easy for the teenaged moms of Gloucester High.

Lindsay Oliver was just 17-years-old when she became pregnant.  The teen mother, whose seven-month-old daughter Chloe is one of a crop of babies born to the now infamous Gloucester teens, denies the existence of a pregnancy pact.

Lindsay: "It was just girls who didn't like the pregnant girls spreading rumors.  We really didn't get pregnant on purpose...I can't even walk around without somebody being like, ‘Oh, are you one of the girls from the pact?'...They say you're just a pregnant teen and you did it on purpose."

Oliver and the baby's father, 21-year-old Andrew Salidas, never married, but they're still together.  Oliver tells INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander that they now live with Salidas' parents and spent last year struggling to get by on what he made delivering pizzas.

Lindsay: "We definitely didn't plan it.  None of us really intended to have kids this young."
