Drew: I'm having a hot flash, by the way. Oh thank God.

Chris: I will social mirror you.

Drew: Oh my god, please, because I'm having a hot flash because you are, wait, is that on the bingo card, by the way? I need my glasses.

Chris: Yeah, there's a hot flash.

Drew: Yeah, we got one, Chris.

Chris: We got a hot flash, those, what I liked about it was that, where did those glasses come from?

Drew: Oh, I made them actually, by the way, they kind of mirror yours. I'm telling you, I love and get you so much because, OK, first of all, I was watching your special last night I was laughing my stomach hurt. My gut was wrenched, and I was like, this is, and you have this side. He has this side angle camera that I've never seen in a comedy special before. It also feels like you're coming, he like you're coming up to me the whole time, and there's an intimacy level that I've never seen in a comedy special. Where did you get the idea for that secret camera?

Chris: It can be a little ominous. I think people get a little freaked out.

Drew: Oh, I'm here for it.

Chris: But it's like I, I just love to stare right down the barrel of it like that because it's like because it can be really exclusive when you're watching a comedy special because you're like I'm not there why am I watching this? But then when you kind of check in like even if you're not thrilled at the way a joke went over, you can be like. And then back to the room, it's, it's intimate.

Drew on Tom Green’s Advice on Comedy

https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/EDP9UpXci3pM

Drew: Well, I actually married him. He’s a comedian named Tom Green. I liked him so much that I married him, and that was, I think, we were kids, you know, we were like 26 years old.

Chris: We did another, holding hands, holding hands, bingo, holding, and I think you're holding hands with DeVito in that one.

Drew: But I, he always would tell me that if a joke didn't land, go further with it or acknowledge the bomb.

Chris: And live in that and that's beautiful, it's honest.

Drew: So what does it feel like and I feel like you actually give a sense as well as a gentle sort of nudge slash like, OK, we're gonna get there together. I've never seen anyone, it's a little foreplay-ish if you will. Like it's like, oh, OK, I see we're not ready yet for this, so we're gonna have to make out, yeah, exactly. Then you don't even know that you're rebuilding to it. And then all of a sudden you do the same joke over, it's 3 minutes later, it's a totally different approach and the climax happens and everybody's laughing. And it's so interesting. Where did you learn to.

Chris: You can bully a group into laughing if.

Drew: And it feels literally like foreplay, the opposite of bullying.

Chris: Well, typically you would do it twice for a special taping and then you would omit the, the build up, but I, we thought it would be funny to include showing how the sausage was made that I had to, just be like that didn't get the response that it got in Milwaukee or Columbus, so we're gonna take it from the top.

Drew: How do you handle like corporate golf shirt guys?

Chris: Not well, not well. Golf shirts are golf shirts are tragic. Golf shirts, it's like the opposite of Spanx also they're tight in all the wrong places.

Drew: Do you know why I can't, well, I'm wearing like a weird leotard right now.

Chris: Me too because this is a bodysuit.

Drew: See, I wear this thing that like because I don't wanna wear a bra because I'm over a bra. I'm too old and I won't wear one. I don't care if these sausages fall down to my knees. I just, I'm over it.

Chris: Mine is that.

Drew: Wait, is showing each other's underwear on the bingo card?  I think we need a new category. Would this fall under therapy sesh or?

Chris: It's like exposure therapy.

Chris on Drew’s Physical Comedy & Crossing a Kiss off the Bingo List

https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/3ZswK0Z1lelu

Chris: You're really good at physical theater, by the way.

Drew: Thank you. I love physical comedy. I'm like a vaudeville ham. I'm, my family, they're weird.

Chris: Every picture, every still image of Drew on this show looks like it could be a Lamaze class, by the way. It's like, you like, you like them. And it's, it's like Danny DeVito's there, Clooney's in the corner and you're and you're.

Drew: Wait, may I kiss you?

Chris: Absolutely.

Drew: I mean, I, we, we were on the floor, sitting on the floor and we didn't sit, we planked.
