Drew’s News: Drew, Ross & Valerie on the Last Time They Had a Sex Dream

https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/yt0u63fHVDIW
Drew: Time Magazine reports new studies reveal the secret meaning behind sex dreams, and they might not be as steamy as you think. Research shows that sex dreams are rarely about sex and often relate to other things going on in your life. OK, sex dreams involving a boss or a friend could mean that they have a quality that you want to cultivate, not necessarily that you want to jump in the sack with them. Experts recommend paying attention to how dreams make you feel rather than what they are about.

Ross: When's the last, well, without getting into specifics, has it been recent?

Drew: Years.

Ross: Years since sex dreams?

Drew: This, this brain ain't working like I don't know what is going on. I feel like I used to have really sexy dreams and wake up really turned on, and it's just, it's gone. It's not there.

Ross: Even the men in your dreams are ghosting you.

Drew: 100%. But if this study was true, I wonder what that means. When was the last time you had a sex dream, Val?

Valerie: Not too long ago. And oh my gosh, wow. But, but, oh no, no, no, no.

Ross: Was it about someone you knew?

Valerie: Yes.

Ross: I think if you have a sex dream, don't overthink it. Just enjoy the ride, you know, just enjoy it and go on with your day. If you have one, will you let me know if you, your next one?

Drew: You know you'll be my first phone call.

Ross: I can't wait to wake up to oh great news Drew had a sex dream last night.

Valerie: But have you had a sex dream where you climax?

Drew: Oh, I mean when I was younger, yes, absolutely.

Valerie: That's the, that's the good one, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Drew: I don't think it's like exclusive to men for sure. I can definitely guarantee that.

Hudson Westbrook on Wanting to Become a Landman & How He Got Into Music Instead

https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/ciK2ArQUbv6w

Drew: Your family are, were they real life land men?

Hudson: Yeah, yeah, so my grandpa, he was a land man, and then my uncle was a land man, and so I wanted to do it really bad. I got into Texas Tech and I was like, I'm going to be a landman. I'm playing guitar for fun.

Drew: But something happened along the way.

Hudson: Something happened, something kind of big, I went to, I wrote a song in my, in my notes on my phone for fun. And I was like, you know what, I'm gonna add chords to it. I think this is kind of good. And then I ended up doing, that poem, added chords, went to the studio, recorded it. My fiddle player videoed me, which is like one of my friends from college too, and he's still with me.

Drew: Is that the one that's in the field with the cows, and I can sort of see like a bit of a truck bed in there and you're just playing, and that's the video you put out and.

Hudson: 5 million views, bought a van, bought a trailer.

Hudson on Austin City Limits Changing His Life

https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/ylHaSFCRARoS

Drew: Austin City Limits, is that maybe where something occurred? Can you tell me about that?

Hudson: Yeah, that was an interesting day. I was playing there. And like my whole family comes it's like a big family like hurrah like it was my first big show, but I'm on stage and I'm talking about one of the songs that I put out called Two Way Drive, and I do this little spill where I'm like, I was bringing rules broke up with my girlfriend ended up writing a song. I was in a dorm room. My buddies were outside and I just dropped out of college, and my mom, like my mom was out in the crowd. I didn't even look at her when I said that. She didn't know yet.

Drew: So this is where she found out at Austin City Limits in a crowd of concertgoers.

Hudson: I go on with the show and end up talking to her and she's like, I was like, great show, right? Like not even thinking about the fact that I just told her I dropped out of college because my nerves are still going and she's like, you did what though? I dropped out. I just played ACL though, look, and she, she, she said, well, I'm not paying for your bills anymore and you're not getting this and not paying for your insurance, and she was like, but I want you to chase your dreams. And she said, you can always go back to college. You can't always chase a music career like it's hot while you got it you got the writing while you have it, you're young, chase it.

Hudson: Yeah, she, she made what's in there, I think, so that, that hat, did you get a hat?

Drew: Can I open it? I know, we got lost in conversation. I've been holding this box.

Hudson: That's the merch.

Drew: You don't even know. I'm just gonna wear both at the same time. Like her, her gift is spot on. In fact, I didn't even know that they would kind of match, but I've got this for you.

Hudson: I'll rock it.
