Drew Introduces Her Bearded Dragon Jeremy to Jack & Paul
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/aYTajT4DIcjm
Drew: I have a snake.
Jack: Oh, you do at home?
Drew: Well, yes, but it's loose. Its name is Lemon, and I was gonna bring it here to show you guys, but once again Lemon got out. By the way, Lemon gets out all the time, but she represents.
Jack: So wait, does she get out of her aquarium? And do you try to keep it like a lid on it with books and stuff to make sure she doesn't.
Drew: Yes I've even got snaps on the side now like a some type of diaper plastic prophylactic thing. It's not working.
Jack: This is the terrifying thing about snake pet is they will find a way out of the aquarium and then you're like, where is the snake? I had one. I was watching a snake when I was, like 16 years old. A friend of mine had a pet snake, and he went out of town. He's like, can you watch my snake? I was like, yeah.
And I had the aquarium in my room and I woke up and there was no snake in the aquarium. And I told my mom I was like, mom, the snake is out of the, she's like, what the snake is out of the, and we searched the whole house, couldn't find it, and two hours later it came slithering out of the inside of my mattress. We found a little hole in the mattress, and I've been traumatized ever since. I'm impressed that you're not scared of snakes. You have them in your home.
Drew: Lemon has been out and about many times, and you know she just does her thing. I also have a bearded dragon named Jeremy.
Jack: Here's the thing, I'm scared of snakes, but bearded dragons sound kind of cute.
Drew: Wait, is Jeremy here yet?
Jack: Wait, you brought the bearded, the bearded dragon.
Drew: Jeremy's gonna come out…This is Jeremy.
Jack: I know I said that they sound cute, but now I'm scared. Can you guess what song I'm thinking and I wanna sing right now? You only get one guess.
Drew: I don't know why I'm going to Barracuda.
Jack: No it's Pearl Jam.
Drew on Screaming at Jack Black Out of a Car on Sunset Boulevard
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/cI92kwWgNwUy
Drew: Did you know it was me screaming at you out of the car that day on Sunset Boulevard?
Jack: No I was traumatized. Someone screamed, and then I found out later. I don't remember how I found out. Someone told me, you know, that was Drew. I was like, What? So we kind of met. We have, this is us meeting.
Drew: I am your greatest admirer, and you were walking down Sunset Boulevard, and I leaned out of the car and I screamed, I love you Jack Black. And then the car just kept going.
Paul: Jack, I'm telling you though, I get it. Jack has that effect on people. It's pretty wild. I spent a few months with Jack and it's fun to see people kind of see Jack in the wild, you know, they they're unprepared and there's nobody I feel like, brings people more joy, right, than him, and it does everything great and his entire goodness and being everything just kicks out, 110% in everything, and it's really fun to see people freak out over you.
Jack on Channeling Girl Character He’s Been Doing for Years for His Role in “Jumanji"
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/hUIBLz82PjSu
Jack: Ok so I first got the script for ‘Jumanji’ and I was excited because I wanted to work with Dwayne the Rock Johnson and Kevin Hart it just sounded like a fun group and when I read the script I connected with the girl character because at one point, most of the movie I’m inhabited by this girl and it could’ve been played different ways like maybe I’m just playing myself but the girl is inside me but my voice is me and I was like ooh I really wanna do this where I’m channeling the girl because I had this girl character that I’d been doing since college years just messing around and I had this girl inside me that I wanted to bring out for this movie and I said to Jake I was like can I channel a girl character and really look and sound like, and he was like yes of course and so that was my way into that movie where I really inhabited this other character and it was an amazing experience for me.
Drew: Does that girl have a name?
Jack: It was Brittany. Does she have a name like do I have a name for that character? No I never named her it’s just something that I did hanging out in the hallways and talking to people. I’m embarrassed now talking about it. I have a girl inside me okay.
Paul on Keeping the “Anchorman" & “Wet Hot American Summer” Scripts & Reading Them on Repeat
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/HBGKVsQjfpUr
Drew: ‘Anchorman’ one of the best movies ever. I mean you really do like embody these people and then like become them. Do you have a hair, makeup, wardrobe ritual? Do you have a voice? Do you wear a certain perfume?
Paul: That was, that was all that was all natural. All hair, that's the mustache, sideburns, all of it. But the thing that is kind of similar to this and the ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ character is that they're guys who think they've got it all together and they're morons, and those are such fun parts to play. I will say that the script for ‘Anchorman’ and the script for ‘Wet Hot American Summer,’ those were two scripts that I remember crying reading. I was laughing so hard that I kept them and would just read them over and over again out of pleasure, which there's 2 scripts that that I've ever read, and those were the two. They're so rare.
Paul on “Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers” Being His First Movie & Getting Mooned by Michael Myers
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/Ql7woq9aEqmc
Drew: These are the movies that totally screwed me up as a kid. Like it's Michael Myers' face I see in the window. What is it like to work with Michael Myers?
Paul: That was my very first movie. ‘Clueless’ was the second one. I remember there was a guy named George Wilbur was playing him. Nice guy, and it's a weird thing when you're standing next to Michael Myers and they're not, he's decked out, it's got the mask and everything, and the cameras stop and he just says, ‘You wanna get a cup of coffee or something, go to the table.’ And then I remember one time chasing him. I think in the somewhere near that sequence, I'm running after him and he turns a corner, or so he goes, I'm running and I turned a corner, and when I did it, he was off camera and he was mooning me. So I actually got mooned by Michael Myers.
Drew Surprises Paul with the Girl Whose Bat Mitzvah He DJ’d at in 1992

Drew: By the way, my daughter, who is 13 1/2, just had her Bat Mitzvah.
Paul: Mazel tov.
Drew: Thank you so much. It was, but what I didn't know was that you were a Bat Mitzvah DJ.
Paul: Yeah, I was, yeah, and not just bat bar, and by the way, even a couple of B’nais.
Drew: What's a B’nai?
Paul: That's a, that's two. It's boy girl together you have a B’Nai Mitzvah.
Drew: OK, we actually have a surprise for you because the girl who, has the Bat Mitzvah. Gabby, she sent you a message.
Gabby: Hi Paul, it's Gabby, the girl whose Bat Mitzvah you DJ'ed way back in 1992. I remember that you were charming and that you were menschy and that you played a mean air guitar. Maybe you let me cheat a little bit at the limbo. Thanks for everything.
Paul: Gabby. Oh Gabby, I'm so touched. Yeah, limbo and air guitar, two you have to have those.
Drew: I love that those are your attributes. She's like, I remember you did the best air guitar and you helped me with limbo.
