Martha: It's funny actually. Do you know the story of what Steve did? Well, we had finally finished shooting this bear of a movie with these kids, these screaming kids that Dick Donner was dealing with all day, and Dick could not wait to just get down to his house in Maui and just chill out and Spielberg said, you know, kind of would be funny if all the kids were at the house when he got there. Kind of would be a good idea, don't you think? And so he did. He flew all of us, yeah, all of us with our parents or our guardians to Maui. And set us up in Dick's house like I remember I was like lounging on the hammock and Corey Feldman was on the living room maybe he was, I don't know, but everyone was like hanging out like very casual. And he literally, he walked in and, and I think Corey because he's the, you know, mouth, ‘Hey, Dick, how you doing? Good to see you.’ And he collapsed onto his knees in his living room on the ground just like, oh I can't believe it. What the hell are you trying to do to me? Get out of here what are you doing in my house? It was kind of great. It was really, it was a great prank.

Martha on What She’s Heard About a New “Goonies” Movie

Drew: We have told many stories about potential ‘Goonies’ sequels. Any word. Any insights.

Martha: What I hear comes from like Corey Feldman and Sean Astin and they kind of hear little whispers here and there and there is a rumor that's more substantial than any I've heard thus far. Apparently there is a script being written now, but I don't. That doesn't mean it, it doesn't mean we're gonna be in it, I don't think. It doesn't mean anything.

Drew: With all due respect, you can bring in a new generation, but if the original ‘Goonies’ are not there, that does not work, OK? No one wants to see that and I will say about Steven Spielberg and sequels, the only insight I have into that is he told us very clearly that there would not be a sequel to ‘E.T.’ and that he felt very strong.

Martha: I think that was a good decision.

Drew: I think it was too. It was a good call. He has never said that about the ‘Goonies,’ and I don't think it's a good call. I think you should do a sequel so we can all be with you again because we've never left.

Drew: Growing up next to you, the way you dressed, the places you went, the people you dated, we were literally like, all we talked about, we were so obsessed with your cool and we, we were like dancing at a club together.

Martha: I believe it was the Palladium.

Drew: I loved the Palladium.

Martha: Why we were allowed in, I will never know, but it was a different time.

Drew: Such a different time and a great time. It was a lot of fun like no cell phones.

Martha: No social media no phones.

Drew: And yet we all knew where to find each other and how to get around and do the fun things.

Tyriq: I've been on a couple of dates with this car, but yeah, she means a lot. I've driven her since college, high school. My brother has driven this car, so you know, it's very I hold her dear to my heart.

Drew: You even had her shipped out here so she could make it and wouldn't get hurt along the way. No, it's funny. I, it makes me think of I had an, I dated this man, Luke Wilson for many years. He's the best guy we're super good friends and the first time I met him, his car door was broken, so he had to crawl through the window. I fell in love right there. So I think the right girl is gonna see Big Bertha and be like, hearts, hearts in the eyes.

Tyriq: Yeah, the lock on the other door doesn't work, so I have to like sometimes walk around and open the door.

Drew: Adding to the charm. I think Big Bertha's gonna find you the right woman.
