Drew: ‘Running Point’ you also wrote and produced that, I’ve watched I’m obsessed. But is it true that your dad got to kiss Kate Hudson and how did that happen?

Ike: Okay so there’s my dad right there. He’s an actor.

Drew: He’s in everything. He’s in ‘Jury Duty.’ He’s all over the place.

Ike: Yeah he’s a great actor. So we cast my dad as like the family attorney. He’s so funny.

Drew: It’s the best show. Again it’s doing so well. It’s Kate Hudson sort of a Jeannie Buss LA Lakers owner inspired by, a female running a major league.

Ike: Big basketball team, and it’s a family comedy set in basketball.

Drew: It’s so good and then your dad comes on and he just feels like different than everybody else. He’s got this thing.

Ike: Yeah we wanted him to be very tactile kinda like one of those old guys who always kinda grab your hand, maybe give you a kiss on the head and so we’re doing these takes and Kate Hudson is like ‘Hey maybe for this next take he can kiss me on the lips. It would be so funny’ and she was right it would be hilarious. I said to my dad ‘Hey on this next take kiss Kate.’ He goes ‘I can’t do that. I can’t do that. I don’t know her and I don’t think she’s gonna want that.’ I go dad it’s her idea, he goes, ‘Oh. Okay I’ll okay.’ So he does it and she gives a big ol kiss right on the lips and now it’s like all he talks about. Like we’ll be at a restaurant and the waiter will be like, ‘Have you decided?’ he’s like, ‘Yeah I’ll have the Greek salad, I kissed Kate Hudson.’ So he’s living his best life.
