Scott Speedman on if He Would Do “Felicity” Reboot

Drew: Last question, Speedman. I heard that Keri Russell recently said that she would be open to a ‘Felicity’ reboot. Is this something that you would be open to?

Scott: I would do it, I would, you know, I would do it in a heartbeat. She was, oh my God, because that was such a fun time. And she was like an incredible number one on the call sheet. And yeah, it would be so fun to go do that. And I think we'd be interesting to see where those characters are and I think it'd be fun.

Scott and Drew on Growing Up and Having Kids Later in Life

Drew: Speedman, did you ever think when we would be sitting around in bars hanging out back in the day? I mean, what is this almost 20 years ago now? Like, did you ever, I don't know I mean, not, I don't feel like such a dramatically different person. I've changed a bunch of behaviors but, you know, that's a whole other subject too. We grew up. Is that what growing up is?

Scott: I definitely did. I mean, I have two kids now. If I had like kids, then disaster, I would have been a disaster father. Not ready at all. I'm like, you know, there are some good things about being this late having kids and I'm definitely happy to be this late.

Drew: Your daughter is three and you just had a little boy.

Scott Plays a Round of What’s Scarier

Scott: What's scarier going on a first date or saying I love you first? I think going on a first date actually for me. Yeah, because I think when you're at that point where you feel it with the, I love you and I haven't said it that much in my life. I feel very confident about it and, you know, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be reciprocated. So that's a good thing. But yeah, the first dates I'm always pretty nervous as I remember them. What's scarier, getting a text that says we need to talk or text that start typing and deleting? We need to talk.

Drew: We need to talk is like, is the, is the old fashioned gas mask coming out of my phone.

Scott: What's scarier, being next to someone barefoot on a plane or someone eating a smelly tuna fish sandwich?  Yeah, I'm gonna go barefoot on a plane.

Drew: Oh, I thought the tuna sandwich.

Scott: You've gone barefoot on a plane?

Drew: And eaten a tuna sandwich.

Scott: At the same time.

Drew: Not the same time, but I've been an offender of both of those incidents.

Scott: Wow. I can't really see that.

Drew: Sometimes, sometimes we all fail as human.

Scott: What's scarier a blow out from your newborn or your three-year-old throwing a tantrum? Definitely three-year-old.
