Drew: I am so excited to talk to you about this book that I have been reading. Val this is a book written by Alex Van Halen, brother to the father of Wolfie. ‘Brothers’ is this beautiful book.

Valerie: He did an amazing job, what do I say about Al? The relationship they have, when I talked to Al last year when he told me he was writing the book I was super excited for him and we had a long conversation about grief and what you go through and I know that Al he has gone through, he’s a very private man and for him to do this is extraordinary and to do it so beautifully I’m so proud of you Al. I’m so happy that you wrote your story. And I truly believe that people get an insight into Ed the man and not the icon or whatever you may think you know about him, he was not that. He was a gentle, gentle soul who went through extreme trauma and Al did too. I’m so excited to read it, it’s been sitting in my house now and I look at and I’m just shaking just thinking about it because I know them very well.

Ross: I think Drew and I have the same question. Can we ask why you haven’t read it?

Valerie: It’s going to be emotional, it’s going to be very emotional because I love these two men, they are good men and they are very complicated men. Congratulations Al going to be a best seller.

Ross: The next story is about you Drew…so John Oliver, just recently they did the cheesiest tribute to you Drew and your love of mac n’ cheese. You might have mentioned how you love mac n’ cheese here on the show…it went on and on and on.

Drew: First of all when I watch them show what little adorable buffoons people are in those montage clips I’m like I bet one day, one day I might make it in there.

Cole Hauser on the Secrecy of Filming Final Season of “Yellowstone”

Drew: Cole I have to show you this, this is like the most important thing I own. Oh, no, it's, it's been taped shut. It's traveled with us. I love it anyway. It's the best monopoly ever.

Cole: I'm just saying it's pretty trippy to have my myself on. That's such wild bit of a wild, wild experience the last seven years.

Drew: So, I mean, and the final season it's coming out, we just so, you know, we're at the same parent company and I could not get a screener. They have this thing on lock down in ways.

Cole: Well, listen, the crew, couldn’t even see the scripts.

Drew: I, by the way, you know, I have a ripped T shirt too. Like I have you on a T shirt.

Cole: What does it say on the T shirt though?

Drew: Yellowstone and then a big picture of your face.

Cole: Every girl needs a little rip in their jeans.

Cole’s Plans for His 50th Birthday

Drew:
I don't think I've ever been as excited for any birthday in my entire life.

Cole: Me too.

Drew: Why is that?

Cole: I mean, I just, I think, look, I'm always saying, like I, I never thought I'd make it to 40 then I, you know, 50 now, it's like I'm like, you know, what are you gonna do for that? And so I'm gonna go on a trip around the world solo.

Drew: Yeah, I love this so much as a big solo traveler is Cynthia like we've been together so long, you go.

Cole: She's pretty happy about it. Probably. No, I'm just kidding. No, she's, she's gonna come with me to, I, I'll just say it. Spain and then we'll have my 50th and then from there I go to Africa, Africa to New Zealand. And, and we'll see where else. But, that's, that's kind of the road map right now.

Cole on How He Met His Wife Actress Cynthia Daniel

https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/NqtBR33G2Hvi

Drew: May I ask how you guys met?

Cole: Yeah, my sister, at my mother's house. Yeah, this is now 30 I think one years ago.

Yeah. It's a, it's a great story too. I'll just tell you because, and it, it's, it's true. I think when you meet people in your life that are important that should be there for life, certainly with my wife when she walked by my mother's window time stopped and I was like, ‘Who is that?’ And so of course I inquired to my sister, Vanessa, come here. I said, ‘I wanna know who that is’ and she goes, ‘That's my friend Cynthia.’ I said, ‘Well, have her come to dinner’ and so she ended up coming to dinner with my mom.

Drew: And what a, when you said your sister, I immediately went, oh, that's safe like that, there's something about that, you know, I think maybe I idealize meeting someone that someone I know knows. Because I've dated a lot of strangers on an app. I'm serious.

That's how a lot of people are doing it. So I dip my toe in.

Cole: It's been so long. It is weird.
