Drew: Frankie said to me on the street the other day, well she said, ‘Well I’m going to be an actress when I grow up,’ and I said, ‘Okay. I will support you and help you in any way I can.’ You know I won’t let them now, they have to be kids and grow up.

Andie: I did the same thing.

Drew: Oh so I’m doing it right.

Andie: I think so. I do. Because well you were a child actress. I remember the first time I saw you I just forgot about that. You came to a party, you were a child. You came to the ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’ party.

Drew: I sure did.

Andie: What were you doing there?

Drew: Partying.

Andie: How old were you?

Drew: Probably like, what year did ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’ come out?

Andie: I don’t know I was probably twenty-five or twenty-six.

Drew: I was ten. 1985.

Andie: What were you doing there? I remember thinking that.

Drew: Emilio Estevez literally was my first slow dance for Rob Lowe’s birthday party and that’s the guy who’s in love with you in ‘St. Elmo’s Fire.’

Andie: Yeah, well I don’t know about you but I’ve worked with kids and it’s really a job. I just wanted them to have whatever a normal life is.

Drew: Everything you’re saying is making me feel so validated for my choices.

Andie: I’m so glad. It is a job.

Drew: I do agree it’s like not for kids.
