Glen: They have a spider wrangler on set, so they literally have someone that takes the, the spider’s got a name, they’re soothing the spider.
Sydney: It only can work for so many minutes at a time and then it needs a break.
Glen: But the problem is it gives you a false sense of confidence that this thing is trained and then it bites Sydney.
Sydney: Yes. I’m like, ‘Oh cool,’ and he goes, ‘The spider will just stay there,’ full fangs, I had two marks right on my wrist.

Drew: First of all is it true that your favorite snack is…
Sydney: Gummy bears.
Drew: And I heard, is it true Glen that you would get her gummy bears?
Glen: This is true. She doesn’t drink caffeine, she just eats gummy bears and just gets sugar highs throughout the day.
Drew: Glen, what is your favorite snack?
Glen: Butterfinger.
Drew: This is my minivan, and it is only minivans and nothing else. Is it true that you drove a Toyota Previa in 1990.
Glen: Not in 1990, a 1990 Toyota Previa.
Drew: Oh understood.
Sydney: Did you lie to me about how old you were?
Glen: I should not be doing this romcom.
Drew: Well that’s a joke in the movie and I don’t get it because you guys seem like a perfect chemistry match, and by the way I did a movie with Hugh Grant and he was a few years older than me…chemistry is chemistry I don’t care how old you both are, you’re a perfect match.
Glen: Yes I drove a 1990 Toyota Previa which was handed down to me by my mom…
Sydney on Producing The Film and the Location Changing from Italy to Australia
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/uXlJb5dMRwQY
Drew: Incredible producing job on this film by the way.
Glen: Honestly you as the leader of the team here, the person that really developed this movie, no truly Sydney came up with the idea to make ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ into a romcom, developed the script, brought me on board, brought Will on board and built this entire really impressive thing out.
Drew: There’s really no box you don’t check….as someone who wanted to produce the films I was in so I would have a seat at the table to make sure I protected especially a director’s vision, what made you think Will was the right person to direct this film?
Sydney: Will has directed some iconic romcoms that Glen and I both truly loved and we couldn’t have imagined someone better to bring Bea and Ben to life. And what I loved too, saying about fighting for a director, this movie was originally set in Italy and Will fought for Australia.
Drew: And it’s a character in the movie…
Red Light Confessions: Sydney and Glen on Worst Place to Take Someone on a Date and the Craziest Thing They’ve Done and Gotten Away With
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/DnbDv3TguDlm
Glen: What’s the worst place to meet someone for a date?
Sydney: What would be the worst place?
Glen: Worst place to take someone on a date is where you take other dates.
Sydney: You want it to be special.
Glen: I would say don’t have a consistent date spot.
Drew: I’ll tell you my worst, dinner because more often than not before the appetizer you don’t want to be there. What’s your red light confession?
Sydney: Craziest thing you’ve done and gotten away with. My first car my grandparents gave me was this old 1990 Volvo and it had a sunroof and my friends and I would go to Mulholland and car surf at night. It’s the best feeling.
Glenn Powell on Turning Down “Top Gun” at First When He Didn’t Get the Role He Wanted
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/hHHH1nK9JR07
Drew: Is it true that when Tom Cruise was talking to you about doing ‘Top Gun’ you were originally interested in playing Rooster…and it was sort of the new ‘Iceman’ Val Kilmer if you will role that he wanted you to do, you turned it down and then he sought you out to convince you otherwise. Is any of this folklore?
Glen: That’s all true…at the time I had auditioned for that role and when I didn’t get it, I was definitely like this other role was just not a great role and I didn’t think I’d do a good job so Tom kept calling and was like, ‘Hey I really want to talk to you about this role,’ so when I sat down and actually talked to him about it he pitched me about how he works and he basically said you’re gonna have to trust me. He goes, ‘I know what you do and I know what you do really well and I’m gonna write this role with you. We’re gonna develop the role together.’ I ended up taking the leap of faith and trusting him and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made.
Drew: I heard he said something too, which is, ‘It isn’t what’s written it’s what you bring to it and what you make of it.’ Which is I think some of the best acting advice.

Drew: Glen’s a Swiftie.
