Drew: I mean we mentioned that it’s your birthday today, I think we need to kick it up a notch…this surprise is very meaningful and it comes from your hometown of Charleston, West Virginia. Drew: Okay I feel like when I personally fell in love with you in every sense of the word was definitely ‘Alias.’ I wanted to see women doing what men did.
Jennifer: You know why I ended up wanting to do this so badly? ‘Charlie’s Angels.’ You had shown me a new way. You had shown me something that I was like, ‘Wait that’s possible? Get me in there I want to do that. So fun.’
Drew: Really?
Jennifer: Yes.
Drew: Did you enjoy playing that role?
Jennifer: Every minute…it was so hard. Twenty-two episodes a year of every single lunch break I had somebody waiting for me to teach me a fight, teach me a language, to have a fitting and the days started at five and ended at eleven and obviously it wasn’t hard, there are jobs that are literally hard, it was just so taxing, and it was also just heaven to do…
Jennifer on Not Knowing That “13 Going on 30” Would be a Classic During Filming

Drew: This movie means so much to me and my daughters…’13 Going on 30.’
Jennifer: Can you stand it. Joy, it was joy. That was just joy.
Drew: Did you know when you were making it that it was gonna be a classic?
Jennifer: Nope. No idea, and I just had dinner with Judy Greer who plays my frenemy…but yes I just knew that, we’ve talked about it the three of us how it kind of grows, because I think the kids who were thirteen when it came out are now thirty and god bless them.
Drew: Thirty, flirty and thriving.
