Rebel on Collapsing To The Ground After Her Proposal
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/2aDlbjvE58GU
Rebel: I literally have just been in this position. Exactly like this. I’m getting flashbacks.
Drew: How did it go?
Rebel: I just proposed to my girlfriend Ramona.
Drew: And she said yes.
Rebel: She said yes. And I was like, ‘Do I get down on one knee? What do I do?’ and I was like, ‘I may as well,’ so I got down on one knee and then she was like what you’re doing and goes, ‘Well you can’t be the only one on your knee,’ so she got down as well.
Drew: Yes, because she’s a giver not a taker.
Rebel: Yes and we were in Disneyland, the happiest proposal place on earth. So, we were in the middle of Disneyland proposing and luckily they put some topiary trees around us to give us a little bit of privacy. And it was just beautiful and she said yes and then I was like, ‘Okay great,’ and then I was so overwhelmed that afterwards we went on a ride, this new ride they had, and I kind of collapsed afterwards because I was so like overwhelmed, because I’d never been engaged before, or proposed to, or proposed. So it was such a huge thing in my life, and then we went on this new ride and I go, ‘Hang on I just have to like,’ and I literally collapsed on the floor for five minutes. And then I go, ‘Okay I’m good. Let’s get churros and move on.’
Rebel on Calling Bob Iger For Permission To Propose at Disney & Having Violinist Play Disney Classics
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/JOeRDXd7MCgY
Drew: You also picked up the phone and called Bob Iger, like the president of all of Disney.
Rebel: He's the big, big boss and I thought well if he says yes then it was meant to be, and I was meant to propose that day at Disneyland…I had to get special permission to get a special area roped off and get the topiary trees in and you know I had a violinist playing like Disney classic and it was very, it was really romantic. I did go to the big boss to get permission.
