Aubrey: The funniest thing too is the day that I was going blonde, guess who walked in to get her touch up?

Drew: Who?

Aubrey: Amy Poehler. Yes and I hadn’t seen her. We’re like really good friends and I hadn’t seen her in forever and I was like, ‘Amy I’m going blonde’ and she sat there and held my hand. She was like, ‘We’re sisters.’ It was really cute.

Drew: Do you keep in touch with them?

Aubrey: Yeah actually we’re all on a little text chain. And today Adam Scott and I both got nominated for Golden Globe awards…but everyone in it, it’s so heartwarming because everybody texted and they were like, ‘Congrats,’ and whenever anything good happens, it’s like a family and I said, ‘I love you fam.’ It was so nice.

Drew: What do you think happened on the island, what do you think happened on the inlet? What did he do?

Aubrey: Does he really have sex with her, is that what people think? I don’t know.

Drew: Something happens.

Aubrey: I feel like, because people are like, ‘Harper and Cameron had sex,’ I’m like, ‘No they just like maybe…’

Drew: Was it a prosthetic that he had on by the way when he takes his short off?

Aubrey: Of course.

Drew: Really, why?

Aubrey: Because he wanted to have the biggest one or whatever. He wanted to have the big one and he got it. Guys are so weird with that stuff. It’s interesting to me how male actors are always like, there’s more fuss and more stuff about them, in my experience. I’m like, ‘Women get naked all the time, what’s the big deal.’

Aubrey: My parents came from nothing. They were like hustlers so I think I have that in my blood because I grew up watching them hustle and my mom went to night school and became a lawyer. They both worked at Wawa I think at one time together, my mom was the manager.

Drew: But I love that you did not come from any connections or leg up, like how did you, what was your first in?

Aubrey: My whole introduction to Hollywood was so fast, it was almost like it doesn’t happen like that normally. I auditioned for ‘Funny People’ which is a Judd Apatow movie that Adan Sandler was in where I play a stand up comedian and then I got ‘Parks and Rec’ and ‘Scott Pilgrim’ all in the same week. It doesn’t happen like that. I can literally pinpoint when people are like, ‘What’s your big break?’ I’m like literally like one week. Three jobs in one week.

Drew: Is it true that you saw Ryan Gosling in a juice bar?

Aubrey: I was beyond a dork because I didn’t recognize him. He was beefed up because I think he had just done ‘Drive.’ He was staring at me and smiling.

Drew: What did he say?

Aubrey: He didn’t say anything. He just smiled at me and then I was the idiot and I did that thing that people do to celebrities where they’re like, ‘I know you. We’ve worked together. We must have worked together,’ and he was just smiling like he had a secret just like, ‘You don’t know me’ and then I said, ‘What’s your name?’ and he said, ‘Ryan,’ and I said, ‘I know we know each other Ryan,’ and he was like, ‘We don’t’ and then he left and the minute he left I was like, ‘Ryan Gosling, Ryan Gosling,’ and then it was over. Must have been literally ten years ago.
