Mindy: Drew, you’ve been like, like I said, a movie that I watched when I was in college, we all went to the theater to go see ‘Charlie’s Angels’ and I know that you produced so many movies, you’ve directed so many things, and it’s like to make the transition from actor to director is tough. Especially, we’re not talking about three years ago, we’re talking about fifteen, twenty years ago and seeing things like that, that people can be multi-hyphenates, they give people like me courage that I can do the same thing.

Drew: All I wanna do is be with you.

Mindy: ‘Charlie’s Angels 4?’

Drew: Three.

Mindy: We’re on three, okay. Listen, I could get a trainer.

Drew: We need to talk. I would love to hear what you think our ‘Charlie’s Angels 3’ would be and then like go make it happen.

Mindy: What a dream.

Drew: Let’s call Cameron and Lucy and make this happen.

Drew: All of the crushes I’ve ever had are basically funny, talk show writer comedian men.

Mindy: How has that gone for you would you say?

Drew: I’ve been single for seven years.

Mindy: As have I. So we know not to go down that path.

Drew: Although I was on a date once and B.J. Novak sat down and I remember thinking, ‘Oh I wish I was on a date with him. He’s so attractive. Why is he not with Mindy Kaling? I wanna be with Mindy Kaling. Why are they not together?’

Mindy: Wait wait, your first reaction was, ‘Wow he’s so attractive?’ He’s gonna be so excited about that.

Drew: But I think I dream about you being the ultimate couple because you seem like best friends and you’re just both so wonderful.

Mindy: He is a wonderful friend and he is the godparent of both my kids and he loves children and they’re so attached to him. He’s really part of our family, but we’ve known each other for a long, long time and I think anyone who’s been friends with someone for eighteen, nineteen years and at one point dated and now doesn’t, they maybe understand this. You have exes that you wouldn’t necessarily marry now.

Drew: I actually have finally finished with all my exes. I now know the book is closed on all of them.

Drew: What is your personal red flag, what would be a personal green flag that you think we should all stay away from or look for?

Mindy: I think asking about your ambitions is good.

Drew: Yeah, you wanna know what people do.

Mindy: Yeah and if men wanna know what you want to do.

Drew: I’d like to know if you wanna do something. That’s all I’m trying to find out.

Mindy: I’d like to know if you have health insurance. That’s always nice.

Drew: And what is a giant red flag in behavior we should all look out for?

Mindy: For me, I think this is going to be very divisive, if you don’t like Indian food then I’m probably…Clearly the takeaway from this entire interview is that we should in a romantic relationship.
