O.J. SIMPSON’S EX-GIRLFRIEND TALKS TO ‘INSIDE EDITION’
To be broadcast Tuesday, May 21st
New York, NY—-May 21, 2013—INSIDE EDITION sits down with O.J. Simpson’s ex-girlfriend, Christie Prody, who says that the disgraced football star was obsessed with his ex-wife, Nicole Brown – mentioning her name every day throughout their twelve-year relationship.
PRODY: “It was very hard to deal with that everyday, comparing me to Nicole. ‘Nicole did this, Nicole did that. You should do this, that’s what she did.’”
Prody also tells INSIDE EDITION that Simpson even encouraged her to dye her hair blonde to resemble Brown.
Prody, who was 21 when she met the then-46 year old Simpson, acknowledges the hold that he had on her.
PRODY: “I was young, and so he could try to shape me, mold me, into what he wanted.”
Although Simpson was acquitted of Brown’s death, Prody claims that he threatened her – using his dead ex-wife’s name.
PRODY: “He would say things to me like, ‘You better watch out so something bad doesn’t happen to you like Nicole.”
