Gina Findley, Bailiff

Biography

 

Gina Findley brings decades of real-world law enforcement experience to her role as bailiff on CBS Media Ventures’ Emmy-nominated syndicated court program HOT BENCH.

 

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, to immigrant parents from Trinidad and Tobago, Findley’s path blends artistry, service, and leadership. She is a graduate of the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she majored in vocal music. Findley went on to study liberal arts at Kingsborough Community College and then criminology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

 

After college, Findley had a distinguished career in the New York Police Department, earning multiple promotions from Police Officer to Detective Specialist, and ultimately to 2nd Grade Detective.

 

In recognition of her outstanding service with the NYPD, April 17th was officially proclaimed “Detective Gina Findley Day” in New York City by the Mayor’s Office. She has also received a prestigious proclamation from The United States House of Representatives acknowledging her accomplishments and excellence in service.

 

Outside the courtroom, Findley finds purpose and joy through music. A lifelong singer, Findley is a member of the worship team at Change Church and has performed the national anthem at Barclays Center and other high-profile venues. She has also volunteered in prison ministry, using music and mentorship to uplift incarcerated youth.


HOT BENCH is an Emmy-nominated syndicated court show, created by Judge Judy Sheindlin and executive produced by David Theodosopoulos. Belinda Jackson and James Glover are co-executive producers. Yodit Tewolde, Rachel Juarez and Daniel Mentzer comprise the three-judge panel. HOT BENCH is produced by Big Ticket Pictures and Queen Bee Productions. It is distributed by CBS Media Ventures.
