Ross: It made me wonder if your girls have seen any of your movies…Have they seen ‘E.T.’?

Drew: Yes, yes. They are just not as into yet which is weird but the 40^th anniversary is coming up. I think when they saw it they were just too young but I think this time when we see it it’s going to be very meaningful.

Ross: What about ‘Firestarter’?

Drew: They haven’t seen ‘Firestarter’ and I want them to at some point because I am worried because already Olive was burning a piece of paper the other day. You know when you want to have a serious talk with your child and you’re like I don’t even want to go the angry route because I am so scared and freaked out that you are going to burn the house down, I am going to go the anomaly this is going to freak you out…I feel like Olive doesn’t need any ideas she already likes matches and lighting candles…Frankie says she will not see ‘Scream’ until she is 28, she doesn’t want to see mom get slashed. She knows it’s all film-making and fake and she’s very aware of that…They like ’50 First Dates.’

Ross: ‘Charlie’s Angels’ have they seen that one?

Drew: Yeah, they call them, ‘Mom movies,’ which is so cute it’s the sweetest thing I have ever heard in my whole life but I don’t force them on them. They come to them on their own and naturally.

Drew: Congratulations on your extremely exciting engagement. Flashing the ring. May I see it?

Kat: It’s great. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. He’s a sweet, baby angel…

Drew: The way that you love him is so sweet and romantic. I feel like I get the love vibes through the way you share the love for him. There is such an admiration and appreciation. I feel that’s so important in relationships. I love the way you love him.

Kat: Well I’m 35, so I waited a very, very good chunk of time to get married and I am so glad I waited until I found the right person. It’s really hard. Everybody goes through the nightmarish time of life looking for that person, or not whatever floats your boat, but I feel very lucky and he’s the best.

Drew: May I ask about your engagement…What was it like?

Kat: He had a special moment that makes me believe in magic. We were doing kissing and we had like a shared feeling. I felt this intense feeling, this is my person, this is it. I can’t be without him this is the man I am supposed to be with. And we looked at each other and we both proposed at the same time. Not planned. No knee down. I don’t even remember what happened after that. We just, we were like, ‘Should we get married?’ ‘Yes.’ And I just burst into tears. I never thought I had it in me because I kind of a toughie but I did, I wept happy tears. I felt this sense of relief like I’ve done it. I made it through the wilderness and found this incredible person. Yeah, no one believes me but I assure you that’s what happened.
