Allison Janney on Letting Her Hair Go Natural

Drew: I have been dying to see this new hairdo on you live and in person. It’s stunning.
Allison: I cannot tell you how amazing it is to feel free. Free from hair color and hair extensions and hair tape and blah blah blah. To be able to run my hands through my hair and hopefully sometime a man will be able to run his hands through my hair and just appreciate it. It’s heaven. I am enjoying this new chapter in my hairdo world.
Drew: Have you ever had a man like drag his hand through your hair and hit an extension, that’s a real moment.
Allison: Drew, one time I was flirting with this guy, I was walking down the street in NY just putting my hands in my hair and two extensions came out and I just was dropping them on the ground. I’ve had more embarrassing moments with hair extensions coming out.
Allison Janney on Not Getting Married or Having Kids & Reveals Her Virtual Crush
https://drewbarrymoreshow.cimediacloud.com/r/pWboGp0Ac9BL
Drew: Okay you have put out there in the world that you are not looking to get married or have children, is that true?
Allison: Yeah, I think if I would have found the right guy at the right time who wanted to have kids I probably would have with the right partner because I wasn’t ever really confident that I wanted to have kids and I would rather regret not having kids than have kids and regret that. I’m okay with it. I really am this time in my life getting to know who I am and what I want. I’d love to eventually find someone to share my life with but if it doesn’t happen, I’ll be just fine. Right now, I’m just virtually dating, my latest crush is Rip on ‘Yellowstone.’ I don’t know if you have a virtual crush right now on a show you are watching?
Drew: No, I’ve been in like a really deep rabbit-hole of disturbing documentaries, so definitely no one there…(Allison’s phone rings). Is that anyone fun calling?
Allison: I think it was Tom Cruise calling me for something…He just keeps calling and I’m like, ‘No means no, Tom.’
Nate Berkus Shows Allison Janney How To Make an Elegant Pet-Friendly Space
Drew on Living Next to a Cemetery, “I Auditioned for ‘Poltergeist’ Before ‘E.T.’ and That Movie Really Did a Number on Me”
https://drewbarrymoreshow.cimediacloud.com/r/y0pmqr9MoEcR
Nate: ..39% of people refuse to live next to a cemetery….Drew would you live next to a gravestone?
Drew: You know, I first auditioned for ‘Poltergeist’ before I auditioned for ‘E.T.’ and that movie really did a number on me…I grew up in that ‘Pet Cemetery,’ ‘Poltergeist’ era and all horror movies start with living on a graveyard.
Nate: Then there’s also always a van with a sliding side door by the way.
Drew: That actually, yes, vans scare the crap out of me.
Nate: How about a van in a cemetery?
Drew: With a clown driving, by the way, Frankie, my youngest daughter I just found her new screensaver is ‘It,’ she loves clowns, the creepier the better.
