Drew: Welcome back its time for Drew’s News…I’m here with veteran tattoo artist Ryan Ashley, one of the best in the whole wide world…

Ross: Drew you are getting a tattoo on national television.

Drew: I am. I am so excited I came up with this phrase and I’ve been saying it to myself for the last five years it’s, ‘Home is where we are.’ You know if you are somewhere on vacation or you are in a rental or you are in transition or you have to move from state to the next, if you’re together, that’s where home is…You start a tatt-ing and lets start a news-ing…Okay I’m ready for a big reveal let’s see, there it is…Home is where we are and wherever life takes you, if you are lucky enough to be alongside of people you love then to me, that became the definition of home. Thank you for putting this most important life lesson on my arm for me…To my daughters if you ever get to see this episode, you are my home and I love you more than anything you are the reason I understand my whole life because of you so thank you, you are my home.

Molly on Her Friendship with Hilary

Drew: Tell me about your relationship with Hilary and your history and your future.

Molly: You know I had just graduated from Yale School of Drama when I got on this show. I had no idea what I was doing and I was so stressed out and wanted to make sure everything I was doing was perfect. And one day on set she was like, ‘Just chill. You’re funny, like we love you, just be a little stressed out because it’s kind of stressful.’ And that realness is really good advice and I carry it onto every set I go to, I carry it into my work. We just kind of became fast friends because she saw through my b.s. She was like you don’t need it actually, you will be lighter without it and that carries through into our friendship. I mean she’s the best friend I have.

Molly on Staying with Hilary for A Month After Baby Mae’s Birth

https://drewbarrymoreshow.cimediacloud.com/r/aWhYovlQcrNX

Ross: Yahoo! Life reports that Hilary brought Mae to meet Mandy Moore’s newborn Gus and they had a blast…You went to go help with baby Mae and ended up staying for what like a month?

Molly: A month. Well we weren’t sure when she was going to be born…so I planned to go out to LA for vaguely a month and to see when the baby came. I mean this is her third, so I really wanted to be an extra set of hands and I’m her other daughter’s Godmother. I got to do bath time and bedtime and wake up time is the best, they are so tender in the mornings when they wake up.

Drew: How did it feel to hold that little tiny baby?

Molly: She is edible and she was so, so, so cuddly, she loved to be held and Banks was like that too. Hilary makes really cuddly people. I feel like I’m so lucky, I’m like a parent in training. She’s taught me and my partner Hannah how to be, she’s such a good mother.

Drew: May I ask because I was so scared with Olive and I was calmer with Frankie. What is Hilary like with her second and third? Is she different?

Molly: I hope she doesn’t get mad at me for saying this but you know how the parents buy the one month old, two month old the blankets that you put the baby on to take pictures of, she didn’t have one for Mae and so she got one for the day after Mae turned one month old and she was like ‘It’s a third kid thing.’
