Drew: Do you guys need to laugh in life too? Because you are both married to extremely funny men who put so much good comedy out into the world….

Leslie: Sacha’s funny at home right? Judd is not funny at home. He’s a nice person but he’s not going around being funny all day. I wish he was, but Sacha’s funny at home?

Isla: Yeah, we play around, we do silly voices. Obviously there are serious moments, having little tiny people and trying to manage schedules but overall yeah, yes I think comedy gets us through particularly at a time like now. I personally, think there is no inappropriate time for comedy. I mean obviously there are inappropriate things one can say within that sentence but I do think there is always time to have some injection of relief from whatever we are going through. It’s fantastic. I’m a big fan of comedy.

Drew: Let’s see the first fun fact, ‘I wrote teenage romance novels with my mom when I was a teenager,’ Leslie?

Leslie: No.

Isla: Yes, I did and I had to write a love scene and my mother may or may not have pitched a certain sexual act that I was unfamiliar with myself and I had to have my mom explain. Let’s just say it’s not fun writing sex scenes when you are an inexperienced teenager with your mother.

Drew: Yeah, I can agree with that. Okay let’s see the next fun fact, ‘I have bat like hearing.’ I’m going to go with Isla.

Leslie: It’s me, I can hear every little, like when Judd chews food I can hear every little click of his teeth, every time he like opens his mouth in between takes. I’m saying it with a disgusted look on my face….I can hear every little thing, he flicks his toes when we watch TV and I can hear him flicking his toes.

Drew: ‘I ride a unicycle.’

Leslie: I can ride a unicycle. I got a unicycle when I was 10 or 11 for Christmas. I can ride backwards…

Drew: Okay the next, ‘I went to clown school and can juggle.’

Isla: Yes, I went to clown school and so did Sacha. I went in Paris, I studied with a French clown…Actually, Sacha studied with a French clown…that was something that we have in common.

Drew: Last fun fact, ‘My party trick is a pig noise.’ Isla? Oh, it’s so cute.

Drew: You were working as a nanny and a bartender when you got ‘2 Broke Girls’ is that true?

Beth: Oh yeah, I was a broke girl. Seven days a week I was working full time and actually I didn’t even own a pair of high heels. I went to my audition for Caroline in cowboy boots. So Michael Patrick King, the amazing creator of ‘2 Broke Girls, called me for my final screen test and was like, ‘Um, Do you own like not a ‘Little House on the Prairie’ dress and like heels? Can you wear something Upper East Side?’ And I was like, ‘Oh yeah totally’ but I had no money because I was a real broke girl so I went to Nordstrom, I kept all the tags on my clothes and the like label on the Steve Madden heels I got and when he hugged me at the screen test he was like, ‘Are there tags all over your clothes?’ And I was like, ‘Well yes because if I don’t get this job I have to return all these clothes I can’t afford them.’ So I was a total cowgirl trying to pretend she was Upper East Side.
