Drew: Seth you’ve always been a fan of this genre of music. Did you think this is just another perfect time to put out this old world classic music?

Seth: Yeah, Liz and I used to sing with symphony orchestras I would go travel around with my conductor and Liz would come and ng some duets with the Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, so we’ve been actually doing this actually for a while and we hadn’t ever recorded anything except one song about Buicks.

Drew: I love a good Buick.

Liz: Don’t we all? And you know my fans are a bit of a different demographic than Seth’s and that’s what was really cool too to bring those two together and this was new for them, this style of music….To introduce that to them and see how much they love it and now how much they look forward to it was awesome.

Drew: By the way Seth how’s the cousin thing going.

Seth: That’s right yes, Drew and I are distant cousins we discovered years ago.

Drew: How crazy is that?

Seth: It’s somewhere the Barrymores and the MacFarlanes, years ago my dad did our family tree and he was like, ‘Oh my God, look at this.’ It’s distant, it’s like the fourth or fifth cousin, I think that’s the relation but it’s there.

Drew: I had so many fun years of coming into the studio on Wilshire Boulevard and recording in the booth with you. I was always doing fun things and then you tell me, ‘Alright now you’re going to play Jillian who is Brian’s girlfriend and she’s sort of an airhead and she talks like this,’ And I have to say it’s sadly not far off from my own voice. And I miss Brian and Jillian Seth, I really do.
