New York, NY — November 3, 2016 – INSIDE EDITION exclusively accompanied the Kardashians’ aunt, Karen Houghton, who is Kris Jenner’s younger sister, as she underwent a dramatic facelift to look as good as her famous sibling. Her transformation was shocking.

Houghton, who is three years younger than Jenner, explained to INSIDE EDITION that she wasn’t happy with certain aspects of her appearance. “Certain angles of my face were just not what I wanted. No one wants a double chin,” she said.

Houghton turned to plastic surgeon, Dr. Ben Talei, for an AuraLyft, which is the most extensive facelift a woman can get, according to the doctor. He told INSIDE EDITION, “I can bring the entire face and neck up together sixty degrees.”

The 57-year-old told INSIDE EDITION that she wanted to undergo this surgery to keep up with the Kardashians. “Of course the Kardashians – everyone wants to look beautiful,” she said.

On surgery day, the doctor marked where he would make incisions. Only local anesthesia was necessary, and Houghton said she felt comfortable and wasn’t nervous. She was even able to communicate with her doctor during the surgery.

The procedure took about five hours. In addition to lifting Houghton’s face and neck, Dr. Talei also removed fat from under her eyes and transferred it to her cheeks to elevate the cheekbones.  When it was over, Houghton’s head was wrapped in a tight, thick bandage to reduce swelling.

Her transformation was stunning. She now looks remarkably like her sister, Kris Jenner. “I look like my beautiful sister, Kris, and I never thought I would,” she told INSIDE EDITION.

After the surgery, Houghton’s double chin is gone and her cheekbones are sharper and elevated. She told INSIDE EDITION that she’s happy with the results. “This is incredible,” Houghton said.
