‘THE INSIDER’ KICKS OFF 12TH SEASON
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH

LOS ANGELES – September 14, 2015 – CBS Television Distribution’s Emmy-nominated newsmagazine THE INSIDER kicks off its 12th season on Monday, September 14.

Co-hosted by Debbie Matenopoulos, who joined the show in July, and Louis Aguirre, with correspondents Michael Yo and Keltie Knight, THE INSIDER differentiates itself by creating a conversation with its audience. Daily “social sound-off” videos are posted on Instagram asking viewers to send in their thoughts on specific topics which are then included in the show. In addition, the co-hosts and correspondents are active on social media, regularly engaging with their fans.

This season will mark the debut of a refreshed and updated set, which will be revealed in the premiere episode.  THE INSIDER covers the day’s breaking news as well as the latest in fashion, music, television, film and events.

THE INSIDER is a daily, half-hour, nationally syndicated newsmagazine series reporting on the world of celebrity news.  In January 2013, THE INSIDER teamed up with Yahoo! to become a multiplatform entertainment entity.  Through the Yahoo! partnerships, THE INSIDER gives perspective and analysis on how the audience responds to trending topics.
