July 22, 2015 (Los Angeles, CA) –  Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards sat down exclusively with ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT’s Nischelle Turner to discuss her road to sobriety, recent arrest, as well as, a possible return to the reality show.Richards explains that she is currently sober and in a good place, saying, “I love sobriety…I've always loved sobriety and relapsing was very hard for me. It was not easy…I really wanted to go to treatment because I needed a break from what I was going through at home.”  She continues to discuss her latest relapse at her daughter Brooke’s wedding, stating, “I was stressed and everybody was looking at me…the bride and groom and the mom who just got out of treatment. I was super stressed out and I looked on the ground and there were two little margaritas and I think I drank one. I am not even sure. That mixture of [treatment center prescribed medication]so that is why I probably drank.”

While discussing her April 16th arrest in which she was charged with three misdemeanors, Richards states, “Actually, my arrest was my aha [moment.] I get to go away now and rest and take a break from all of this…I don't want anybody to take this wrong, but I truly needed a break from hospitals and just family and the pressure. I needed to go away.”

Richards sets the record straight on reports that she has been fired from the reality show telling ET her representative has been contacted for a possible return to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. When asked about her current relationship with sister and co-star Kyle Richards, Kim states, “I've talked to her a couple of times when she's been in France and London…She came to Brooke's wedding. And that was actually the first time I had seen her in six to seven months. So that was a little hard.”
