CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION FINISHES MAY SWEEP WITH THE #1 SHOW IN EVERY FIRST-RUN GENRE

‘Judge Judy’ Is #1 Court Show and #1 Show in First-Run Syndication

‘Dr. Phil’ Is #1 Talk Show

‘Entertainment Tonight’ Is #1 Newsmagazine

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Is #1 Game Show

‘Hot Bench’ Is #1 Rookie

‘Inside Edition’ Grows +3% Vs. May 2014 Sweep

LOS ANGELES – June 3, 2015 – CBS Television Distribution finished the recently concluded May sweep with the #1 show in every first-run genre.

JUDGE JUDY is the #1 court show: JUDGE JUDY, not only was the top court show, but led all first-run syndication with a 6.7 HH rating.

DR. PHIL is the #1 talk show: DR. PHIL won its 11th consecutive major sweep with a 3.3 HH rating.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE is the #1 game show: WHEEL OF FORTUNE was tops in the game show genre once again, with a 6.5 HH rating.

ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT is the #1 newsmagazine: ET won its 98th consecutive sweep with a 3.2 HH rating.  

HOT BENCH is the #1 rookie strip:HOT BENCH scored a 2.0 HH rating for the sweep, making it the top freshman show. The court show created by Judge Judy Sheindlin was second in the court genre to only JUDGE JUDY and was up +54% from its premiere week (2.0 HH vs. 1.3 HH).

In addition, INSIDE EDITION grew +3% vs. the May 2014 sweep to a 3.1 HH rating. INSIDE EDITION was the #2 magazine show.
