MELISSA RIVERS JOINS ‘ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT’ TO CONDUCT A SERIES OF SPECIAL INTERVIEWS


LOS ANGELES – February 17, 2015 – Melissa Riverswill join ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, it was announced today by Brad Bessey, executive producer of ET. In her new role, the former ET intern will conduct a series of special interviews for the daily show including an interview with “87th Academy Awards” host Neil Patrick Harris, which will air on Thursday, February 19th.
The television veteran currently serves as executive producer of E! Entertainment’s “Fashion Police.” Rivers has also written a tribute to her late mother, comedic legend Joan Rivers, entitled “The Book of Joan – Tales of Mirth, Mischief and Manipulation,” which will be released in May.
“I've known Melissa for a long time. She is a producer, a celebrity, a fan and a friend. Melissa’s ability to connect with people is matched only by her wit, curiosity and warmth,” said Bessey. “I'm excited to see what we can create together.”
