(Hollywood, CA – February 6, 2015) – In a national television exclusive interview, Dr. Phil speaks to ex-Vanderbilt University football player Cory Batey, who, in the trial that made headlines across the country, was convicted of aggravated rape and aggravated sexual battery of a fellow female student. Speaking to Dr. Phil from the Nashville Criminal Justice Center as he awaits sentencing next month, Batey, 21, was convicted along with former teammate Brandon Vandenburg for sexual acts against the former student as she lay unconscious in Vanderbilt’s Gillette Hall dorm room 213 in June 2013.
