GRANDMOTHER SANDRA HALE AND LEE “UNCLE POODLE” THOMPSON ALSO SPEAK OUT AND ADDRESS STATEMENTS MADE BY MAMA JUNE TO DR. PHIL

(Hollywood, CA – December 10, 2014) – Addressing the recent explosive exclusive daytime DR. PHIL interview with “Mama June” Shannon of the cancelled reality series, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, June’s daughter and victim of convicted child molester Mark McDaniel, speaks to Dr.Phil after being outraged by what she calls Mama June’s “bold faced lies” after watching the stunning interview.  Anna speaks to Dr. Phil to share her account of what happened between her and McDaniel when she was 8-years-old; the reasons she gives for her belief that Mama June may have pilfered the money Anna earned from the reality series, an allegation her mother denies; and the status of what she calls their rocky relationship today. The episode airs Thursday, December 11 (check local listings).

During the interview, Anna reunites with her uncle, Lee “Uncle Poodle” Thompson, who she hasn’t seen in over a year. She’s also joined by her grandmother who helped raise her, Sandra Hale. Hale says she is disgusted by her daughter June’s actions and believes June lied to Dr. Phil about allegedly dating McDaniel to save her own skin.
