(Hollywood, CA – October 30, 2014) – DR. PHIL, television’s #1-rated syndicated daytime talk show, continues its 13th hit season and ripped-from-the-headlines exclusives with the Rikers Island interview with wealthy socialite Gigi Jordan, the multimillionaire former high-powered pharmaceutical executive currently on trial for admittedly killing her eight-year-old son, airing Friday, October 31 (check local listings).

In a national television exclusive, Dr. Phil speaks to Jordan, who confessed to poisoning her eight-year-old son Jude with an overdose of prescription medication in a midtown Manhattan hotel room in 2010. She also allegedly attempted to kill herself, but failed.   

In the interview, Dr. Phil asks Jordan what drove her to take her son’s life, what transpired in the posh hotel room that fateful night in 2010, why she remained in the hotel room for 14 hours alongside her son’s body and why she failed at her own alleged suicide attempt.

When asked by Dr. Phil if she has any regrets, Jordan responds, “I would have done a better job of ending my own life.”
