CHEAT TWEET: Tiffany Thornton's husband denies accusations of a drinking problem & tells @TheInsider “I'm willing to put a felony charge on my wife"

May 23, 2014 (Los Angeles, CA) –THE INSIDER’s Nina Parker sat down with musician Chris Carney who is accusing his wife, former Disney Channel star Tiffany Thornton, of abducting their two sons with the help of his parents.  Carney explains to Parker, “I want my kids back so much that I'm willing to put a felony charge on my wife. That sucks. That's how bad I want them back…[Thornton] is dead to me…until she gets help and admits that this is not her.  I don't know this person.”

When asked by Parker what he thought about Thornton accusing him of seeking media attention, Carney states, “I'm not seeking any type of media attention, I've exhausted every resource to try to get her attention. I called her every day for the first week and said ‘I'll do anything you want me to do, just come home’ and she ignored that. The second week [it] was ‘Just come home.’ The third week was ‘Just come home.’ Then I went dark…[and] had to go get legal involved because my rights were taken from me.” 

Carney’s mother Ruth tells THE INSIDER that her son was in rehab for almost two years prior to his marriage to Thornton.  According to her, Thornton is currently dealing with addiction and is not willing to get help, often coming home drunk and yelling in front of his children.  She goes on to say that she believes Thornton would like to work things out with Carney once he gets help, adding that he is a wonderful person when he is not controlled by his addiction.

Carney admittedly denies allegations of a drinking problem.
