May 23, 2014 (Florence, Italy) –  A worker inside Versailles gives ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT the first details on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s glamorous evening at the Château de Versailles the night before the wedding.

The source explains to ET that the event, organized by West, included 100 guests and 1,000 bottles of Ace of Spades rosé champagne and some regular Ace of Spades champagne. Guests were allowed to run amok through any room they wanted in the palace. They were also able to go on a horse-drawn carriage

Workers at the event dressed like they were from the days of Marie Antoinette and were not allowed to speak to guests.

Lana Del Rey was late to perform, but Kardashian and West covered for her, taking the podium with speeches making light of her tardiness. The couple then announced that everyone was going to Italy. Sadly, no one was surprised as it was already on the internet and Kardashian made a joke about that. West said the destination was Florence and Kardashian said he was only supposed to say it was Italy, which led to a mini-fight.  When Del Rey arrived she performed three songs, including Young and Beautiful, as fireworks went off in the background, but her lateness seemed to slightly ruin the timing.

Neither Jay Z nor Beyoncé were in attendance, but Jay Z has been confirmed to attend the wedding while Beyoncé is still a maybe. We’re told that her absence has to do with her schedule and has nothing to do with her relationship with Kardashian.

Kardashian is said to have put a slight damper on West’s bachelor party, which was supposed to be crazy, but was tamed a bit when she got wind of the plans. Only about 20-30 people are said to have attended.
