ET EXCLUSIVE | BRUNO MARS’ BROTHER AND DRUMMER ON THEIR EMOTIONAL SUPER BOWL PERFORMANCE

"I felt it was a real classy dedication."

February 2, 2014  (New York, NY) -  ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT’s Rob Marciano spoke exclusively to drummer and brother of Bruno Mars, Eric Hernandez, immediately following their half time performance. When asked by Marciano if the performance was more emotional due to the passing of their mother last year Hernandez states, “Absolutely…You can somewhat dedicate this performance…[We wanted] to give the fans what they want and give the viewing public what they want to see and for us to feel good about what we just did. I think we all feel great.”

Hernandez goes on to explains that the drum set which contained his mother’s name that Mars opened the performance with was Mars’ way of dedicating the show to her saying, “I felt it was a real classy dedication.”
