September 24, 2013 (New York, NY) – ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT sat down with former Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality star Kate Gosselin to discuss her  new cookbook, Love Is In The Mix: Making Meals into Memories with Family-Friendly Recipes, Tips and Traditions, as well as her current relationship with her ex-husband Jon.  While discussing her ex’s latest incident in which he fired a gun into the air as a warning to paparazzi, Kate stated,  “It’s definitely concerning…The rational and safe thing would have been to go inside and shut the door, that’s what I do and have been instructed for years to do.”

Kate goes on to discuss her current legal proceedings with Jon in which she alleges that he hacked into her computer, Kate explains, “We’re not hiding anything. The details and the truth and everything that we know will come out in court. So, while people think [the lawsuit] is a  publicity stunt, rest assured that it’s not…it’s a shame that it has come to that.  I have way better things to do with my time than to be in court.” She continues to explain that her focus is on supporting her large family, “ [It is] definitely a lot of responsibility. It is all resting on me so I am not idle for a second of my life. “ Kate maintains that she is the sole supporter for their eight children.

Once her contract with TLC ends Kate revealed that she would be interested in starring in her own reality show once again stating, “I’m open to really anything, a show [with] just me or a show [with] me and the kids.”
