Dennis Rosenlof, 64, who claims to have eaten over 12,000 Big Mac sandwiches over the past 30 years and averages nearly 10 Big Macs a week, has agreed to take a blood test and will receive the results, exclusively on THE DOCTORS, Friday, September 20 (check your local listings).
Rosenlof, who is six feet tall and weighs approximately 165lbs., believes he is in excellent health despite his regular consumption of the iconic fast food sandwich. He explained that his weekly eating regimen consists of at least one Big Mac every day (some days two) except on Sundays, when his wife cooks a healthy meal. He believes he stays slim by not eating over the daily recommended calorie intake, commenting that even two Big Mac meals in a day keeps him under 2,000 calories because he rarely eats more than that. He says he doesn’t exercise but is on his feet for 8-10 hours a day for work.
Before revealing the results of his blood test, The Doctors advised Rosenlof that he needs to eat a more balanced diet, but Dr. Ian Smith cautioned, “your outside look does not mean what’s happening on the inside.”
