May 1, 2013 (Los Angeles, CA) –  omg! INSIDER is celebrating Mother’s Day with a special series, “Whatever Happened to Your Favorite TV Moms of The ‘90s?”  The series launches on Thursday, May 2, and culminates in a Mother’s Day weekend special.  For the weekend special,  omg! INSIDER producers will integrate social media voting to allow viewers to select their favorite TV Moms, to be announced in the show.

This Mother’s Day series is part of the “Yo Knows” franchise, featuring omg! INSIDER correspondent Michael Yo. He engages the matriarch’s from the popular 1990s primetime series in candid conversations about their television families, on-set dramas and their lives today. “Beverly Hills 90210’s” Carol Potter is now a marriage and family therapist, Jackée Harry says her “Sister, Sister” daughters Tia and Tamera Mowry gave her a chance to start over again, Janet Hubert holds nothing back in discussing the behind-the-scenes conflict with Will Smith she claims got her fired from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” and Catherine Hicks, takes us back to the church featured in “7th Heaven.”

INSIDER Facebook page (Facebook.com/omgInsider) for their “Favorite TV Moms of The ‘90s.”  The results will be featured in a countdown special airing Mother’s Day weekend.  In addition to airing on omg! INSIDER, unique “Whatever Happened to Your Favorite TV Moms of the ‘90s” content will be featured exclusively on Yahoo!.

Michael Yo is a correspondent and fill-in host for omg!
