ET FIRST: FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA RESPONDS TO RECENT DEVASTATION OF HURRICANE SANDY

 

November 1, 2012 (Jacksonville, FL) --  In her first interview since Hurricane Sandy devastated areas of the East Coast, First Lady Michelle Obama reveals to ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT her thoughts regarding the extensive destruction.  

The First Lady tells ET that the focus and attention of the White House at this time is on rescue and recovery,“We need to support each other as a nation, in good times and in bad.”

The First Lady confirms that she has discussed the aftermath of the storm with their two daughters, “Everything that happens in the world is a teachable moment.”

The First Lady is urging Americans to get to the polls early to cast their votes.  Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th.
