ET EXCLUSIVE | LARK VOORHIES RESPONDS TO REPORTS SHE IS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES

"I don’t understand why they chose to take that angle, quite frankly."

November 8, 2012 (Los Angeles, CA) -- ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT’s Christina McLarty sits down with former Saved By The Bell star, Lark Voorhies, to give her an opportunity to refute claims that she is suffering from pronounced mental health issues.

When McLarty asks Voorhies about recent statements made by her mother and one-time co-star, Dustin Diamond, regarding her mental health state, Voorhies responds, "I have no worries myself, nor do I exude, exhibit or possess within my living stratus any reason why someone should worry [on] my behalf…It's completely fictional."

Voorhies comments on maintaining a positive lifestyle while working in the entertainment industry, saying "It's much like fighting, I mean you know, when you enlist in the Army, you get yourself physically fit, mentally fit and formational-wise fit, so that it's just the same.  It's like stage boot camp.  You know you put all the right elements together and you keep them going...we have to be entertainers.  This is our particular angle.”
