PAUL MONTOYA NAMED PRESIDENT OF MEDIA SALES, CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION

LOS ANGELES - August 25, 2010 - Paul Montoya has been promoted to President of Media Sales, at CBS Television Distribution, it was announced today by John Nogawski, President of CTD.

In his new position, Montoya leads CTD's three Media Sales offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, overseeing the sale of national advertising time for all CTD series, including Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray, The Doctors, Swift Justice With Nancy Grace, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Inside Edition, Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown along with off-network shows such as Everybody Loves Raymond and the CSI franchise. He will also oversee integrated marketing, inventory management and revenue forecasting.  

"Paul is an excellent negotiator and strategist," Nogawski said. "His expertise in marrying our great brands with the brands of our clients in today's evolving marketplace is second to none."

Based in New York, Montoya was previously Executive Vice President, Media Sales, a position he took on in 2006 when CBS Paramount Domestic Television merged with King World to become CTD.  Previously, he had been Senior Vice President and General Sales Manager of CBS Paramount Advertiser Services. He joined Paramount after spending 10 years at Warner Bros Domestic Television Distribution, where he rapidly rose through the ranks from Account Executive to Senior Vice President, East Coast Sales Manager.

Montoya is a graduate of Florida South College in Lakeland, Fla., where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications.

Montoya replaces Steven Hirsch, who retired after an accomplished career at CTD and its predecessor King World, where he had worked in media sales since the company's inception.
