July 16, 2010 (Los Angeles, CA) -  THE INSIDER spoke with Kathy Griffin this week in San Diego at a book signing for her new paperback, Official Book Club Selection, for a new interview to air tonight, Friday, July 16^th.

Griffin reacts to the news of her friend Levi Johnston's engagement to Bristol Palin, calling Bristol "that woman" and joking, "I'm a woman scorned!" The funnywoman often joked about Levi Johnston being her boyfriend and even showed up with him on the red carpet.

Griffin tells THE INSIDER she is excited about being a part of the wedding and promises that her designer dress will not upstage the bride's gown. "I'm sure I'll be going to the wedding, if not officiating. You just never know with Levi." She says she has no doubt the engagement is real, saying: "He spoke very highly of her, he always did, and I think he was in love with her the whole time -- as he should be. He's a good guy."
